He focuses on national and international patent litigation and also provides general legal advice in intellectual property law and copyright law.
Christopher was admitted to the Bar in 2007. Before joining Bird & Bird in April 2011, Christopher practiced IP and commercial law in an international law firm in Berlin, where he gained experience in technology transfer and licensing transactions.
Christopher studied law at the Universities of Regensburg, Verona, and Munich. He completed his Ph.D. in design law at the University of Freiburg (Prof. Haedicke). Within the framework of his legal clerkship (Referendariat) at the Higher Regional Court of Hamburg, Christopher worked for law firms in New York and Cape Town.
Christopher is a member of the Association for Intellectual Property and Copyright Law (GRUR). He is fluent in English, Italian, and German.
