Qiang Han is Intellectual Property Counsel at 3M. In this role, he manages all patent issues, including the prosecution of US, PCT, and foreign patent applications, portfolio development and strategy, and drafting IP related agreements. He provides counseling to business leaders on domestic and foreign intellectual property matters. In addition, he provides patent litigation support, conducts IP due diligence for M&A, oversees patent applications and office actions prepared by outside counsel, etc
Qiang has more than 9 years of’ Intellectual Property experience. Prior to joining 3M, he was an analyst for Cardinal Intellectual Property in Illinois, and before that was a patent agent for Beier Bio-Technology Co. Ltd. in China. He received his B.S. degree from Peking University in China and his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School
Qiang is a member of the Minnesota Bar and is registered to practice with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.
